Southampton Academy

Our Southampton Academy sessions are designed to improve the technical ability of each player.  Sessions are based on individual ball skills such as, dribbling, first touch, 1v1 skills, and shooting.  During our Southampton  Academy sessions, we aim to give the player as many quality touches on the ball as possible.   Our partnership with Southampton FC has enabled us to develop a skills curriculum that not only improves the technical ability of each player, but gives them the confidence to perform the skills in games.

Director of Player Development, Stephane Auvray, and other Southampton Pro Academy Coaches have designed sessions based on the Southampton FC Curriculum. These coaches  will be leading the sessions, using exercises from the Southampton Academy that focus on the development of each individual.  Our curriculum gives players the platform to improve their game, whether it is to improve confidence on the ball, improve their weaker foot, improve speed of play, develop composure on the ball, and develop a further understanding of how to play under pressure, our sessions aim to address all areas of creating an exciting soccer player.
