What IS ECNL?

The Elite Clubs National League Boys (ECNL Boys) was founded to improve the daily environment for boys youth soccer players through a collaborative club-based development program featuring competition, player identification, and coaching and club development platforms. ECNL will include both regular season conference games and cross-conference events, and qualifying teams from the ECNL Boys will advance into the ECNL Boys Post-Season.

ECNL provides a platform that is:

  • focused on long-term player development
  • for the country’s top soccer clubs, allowing consistent and meaningful high-level games that are appropriately scheduled with higher training-to-game ratios
  • integrated with the id² Program, which includes Player Development Programs (PDPs) in select local markets, and that works closely with U.S. Soccer staff regarding player identification, and player and coach development
  • providing an avenue for qualification for the ECNL National Finals and full Elite National Premier League

ECNL Regional League - Heartland Conference

The ECNL Regional League - Heartland Conference joins the ECNL platform this fall beginning with the 2020-21 season.

This conference provide U13, U14, U15, U16, U17 and U19 teams (Boys) the same and consistent platform to play at.  Top Clubs from Kansas and Missouri make up the newly established Heartland Conference. League winners and qualifiers advance to the ENCL National Playoffs.

Puma FC ECNL Boys Regional League

The Puma FC ECNL Boys Regional League teams will be part of the elite tier of the club and therefore have higher expectations & requirements for commitment, training and some travel as opposed to our other competitive teams.
