A message from the club:

"In an effort to continue providing a safe environment for our players, staff and families we are making changes to our training sessions and have put in place recommendations regarding face masks.

Indoor sports and activities remains a safe place with everyone respecting the rules of social distancing, wearing mask and other policies. That being said we have an opportunity to limit indoor activities by moving all of our Puma FC practice sessions outside.

For the rest of the year all teams will be moved to an outdoor practice location where players can continue to learn, develop and be together. Your leagueapp will be updated to reflect the new practice location, either at Scheels OP or Garmin Olathe complex.

We are recommending that players wear their mask full time, particularly when playing indoor league games. Puma FC is mandating that all players wear masks on the bench during games as well as to and from training."

Puma FC Winter 2020/21 Training & Game Guidelines

New Century Fieldhouse (Gardner, KS)

For winter indoor TRAINING held at New Century Fieldhouse (Gardner, KS) the following guidelines will be followed –
• Players and Coaches will utilize the door on the southeast side of the building that will take them directly to the soccer field. This should help with congestion in the main entrance of the facility. There should be signs outside directing people to that door for the soccer entrance.
• Coaches will always be required to wear masks during the training sessions indoors.
• Players should be wearing masks upon entering and leaving the facility, or when using the restroom. They can remove their mask once they take the field for practice or leave them on, it is their choice.
• Puma FC encourages Players to wear a GATOR style mask while training. The gator can be pulled down while the player is physically active and then pulled up over the mouth and nose during coach and another player interaction or left on permanently during the trainings. We highly recommend this.
• Parents must ALWAYS wear a mask while inside and are encouraged to just drop off and pick up their child to keep the number of people at any one time top a minimum. If that’s not possible, parents must spectate from the balcony ONLY and must socially distance themselves from others.
• Anyone who isn’t feeling well or has any COVID symptoms should not enter the facility or attend a practice. If someone tests positive for COVID, that person cannot enter the facility until they are done quarantining and are approved to return.
