This Puma FC CUBS DEVELOPMENTAL program is designed for recreational kids to help fill a large gap in Kansas Youth Soccer Development. Most kids start their soccer career off by playing recreation soccer with their friends and a parent coach. Unfortunately they are practicing soccer and training with parents who don’t know the game of soccer and who unintentionally could be showing the incorrect way to learn and play the game. It sometimes takes years of training to retrain the kids in the correct way. At Puma FC, we offer a recreational program that is a step above any other program in the area because it gives the best technical training by professional coaches and still allows kids to plays games with their friends in the rec environment. This gives the best of both worlds.

This program is created for Pre-K/Kindergarten to 6th grade boys and girls. These teams are selected regardless of the player’s abilities or skills and are instead based on who their friends are or where they go to school. Recreational teams are coached by motivated and “Puma FC Approved” parents. All of the practices and sessions being run by a Puma FC Professional Coach and all games are run by Puma FC trained coaches. All teams will participate in Johnson County Recreation Program and will practice and play games at Stoll Park.

K-4th Grade – Boys and girls are on separate teams. A minimum of 1 practice a week in the Winter season (November -Feb) and 2 practices in the Fall(Aug-October) and Spring(March-May). Approximately 9-12 players on a team format will be 7 v 7 with 2 – 25 minute halves and volunteer coaches. Eight games at Stoll Park. All Practices will be run by Puma FC Coaches and Trainers. There are opportunities to guest play on Puma FC Premier Teams for kids U8-U10.
