What is Recreational Soccer?
Recreational Soccer is a program devoted to the enjoyment and development of youth soccer players with out the emphasis on traveling or high level competition. These teams are selected regardless of the player’s abilities or skills and are instead based on who their friends are or where they go to school. Recreational teams are coached by motivated and approved parents who undergo background checks.
Puma FC is committed to providing the best tactical and overall athletic development for each individual player while offering players, their families and coaches an enjoyable soccer experience. We are dedicated to helping players reach their full potential while fostering a love of the game.
JOCO Soccer League powered by Puma FC
JOCO Soccer League Powered by Puma FC provides the community with a recreational soccer program for children aged 3-14 (8th grade). Programs will run on Saturday or Sunday at Heritage Soccer Park through 4th grade and both Heritage and Stump Parks for 5th-8th grade in fall and spring. Additional indoor programming will also be offered over the winter months.
The league's philosophy is to enrich the youth of our community through the game of soccer while enhancing the social skills and team play in a fun and exciting environment. We want to lower the boundaries and engage with as many young players as possible.
This program will truly put the player first. We have created a developmentally appropriate environment which helps foster a player's love for the game and put that above anything else.

Spring 2023 League information
JOCO Soccer Cubs kickers (3-4 year olds)
CUBS Kickers is an entry level soccer program for 3-4 years old that creates a safe and fun environment for children to learn the foundations of soccer and foster a love for the game.
- 6 x 45 minute sessions at Heritage Soccer Fields.
- Age appropriate curriculum developed by Puma FC.
- Players encouraged to bring a size 3 soccer ball and wear soccer cleats.
- Program begins April 1 (no session April 8).
- Registration fee of $78 with a fun T-Shirt included.

JOCO Soccer Pee Wee League (Ages 4-6)
The pee wee league aims to develop the players soccer foundation of skill set and knowledge. A more game like environment is introduced to build understanding of the game and introduce competition.
- 6 sessions of 20 minute practice and 30 minute games.
- Games played primarily on Saturday mornings at Hertiage Soccer fields.
- 4 v 4 with no Goalkeepers.
- Players will need a size 3 soccer ball.
- Practice curriculum provided by Puma FC.
- Games start April 1.
- Registration fee of $73.
- Game day jerseys provided by Nike at $20.

JOCO Soccer 1st-2nd grade League (6-8 year olds)
The goal of the 1st-2nd grade program is to foster a more competitive and game-like environment while still putting player development first.
- 8 x 40 minute games (20 min halves) played at Heritage Soccer fields.
- 5v5 game including a goalkeeper.
- Coaches allowed on the field.
- Parent Coaches (full practice curriculum provided by Puma FC).
- Players will need a size 4 soccer ball.
- Practice starts mid march.
- Games starts March 25.
- Registration fee of $84.
- Uniforms provided by Nike at $20.

JOCO Soccer 3rd-4th grade League (8-10 year olds)
The 3rd/4th grade league will transition to a bigger field, with additional players, and offsides is introduced.
- 8 x 50 minute games (25 min halves) played at Heritage Soccer fields.
- 7v7 game format including a goalkeeper.
- Parent Coaches (full practice curriculum provided by Puma FC).
- Players will need a size 4 soccer ball.
- Practice starts week of March 6.
- Games start March 25.
- $84 registration fee.
- Uniforms provided by Nike at $20.

JOCO Soccer 5th-6th Grade League (10-12 year olds)
- 8 x 60 minutes games (30 min halves) played at Hertiage Soccer Fields and Stump Park.
- 9v9 game format including goalkeepers.
- Parent coaches (full practice curriculum provided by Puma FC)
- Player will need a size 4 soccer ball.
- Practices start week of March 6.
- Games start March 18.
- $89 registration fee.
- Uniforms provided by Nike for $20.

JOCO Soccer 7th-8th grade League (12-14 year olds)
- 8 x 70 minute games (35 min halves) played at Heritage Soccer Fields and Stump Park
- 11v11 game format
- Parent Coaches (full practice curriculum provided by Puma FC)
- Players will need a size 5 soccer ball.
- Practice start week of March 6.
- Games start March 18.
- $89 registration fee
- Uniforms provided by Nike for $20.
